My Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream Review

The Kinerase line of skin care products is becoming very popular. Their products are distributed through doctors, plastic surgeons, high-end retailers like Nordstrom and online. In Courtney Cox, they also have a celebrity endorser with great-looking skin. One product in particular, Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream, has become much sought after among people like myself who have developed wrinkles and fine lines around their eyes. I have used Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream regularly to combat the crows feet forming at the corners of my eyes. As I have just finished my first tube of the product, I thought I would share my impressions.

Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream claims to be gentle and non-irritating to the skin. Kinerase further claims that regular use will minimize the appearance of wrinkles whilst improving skin tone and moisturizing the area around the eyes. Among the product's ingredients is Kinetin, a plant hormone which reportedly has anti-aging effects when applied to the skin. The product is marketed and sold as being specially formulated to fight wrinkles and lines around the eyes.

Among the leading causes of wrinkles and crows feet around the eyes are sun exposure, tobacco smoking and the repeated contraction of facial muscles over time, meaning smiling, squinting and frowning. Treatment options for wrinkles include chemical peels, dermabrasion, laser skin resurfacing, prescription creams and over the counter products. I am not at the point where I would consider a surgical option just yet and my doctor and I both agreed that a prescription treatment was not warranted. For me, over the counter products are the most practical and best option for preventing and treating wrinkles.

As someone who has quite regularly suffered from puffiness around the eyes and has recently started to develop crows feet as well, I have tried a number of anti-wrinkle creams. Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream came highly recommended by a good friend of mine who is about the same age. I purchased the 20 gram (.7 ounce) tube online through Amazon.com. I paid $54 plus shipping costs for the product.

I currently live in a warm, dry climate and I have sensitive skin so products that have too much of a drying effect I avoid. When I applied Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream for the first time, I was pleased to note that it was as gentle as promised. I applied the product once in the morning and once at night. It made the texture of the skin around the eye area feel moist and less rough but not greasy which I could appreciate. I began to see noticeable results during the second week of twice daily usage. The skin around my eyes started looking smoother and more youthful. The product is not a miracle, so if you are expecting fine lines and crows feet to disappear overnight after using this product, that is not realistic. Overall, I am happy with the product and will continue to use it. The only downside is its price as it is not cheap.

I use Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream in combination with taking steps to promote healthy skin including drinking lots of water, making sure I get the recommended daily amounts of vitamins, limiting sun exposure, staying far away from cigarette smoke and wearing sunglasses outdoors so I don't have to squint. I feel like my added efforts to prevent wrinkles coupled with Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream have resulted in healthier looking skin and an obvious reduction in the appearance of crows feet around my eyes. If you are looking for an effective aid for wrinkles around the eye area, I would recommend giving Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream a try.
