What Vitamin C is good for:
healing wounds
keeping blood vessels strong
building connective tissue

Vitamin C may also boost immunity
Help fight off cell damage with Vitamin C. Doing so, will help protect your cells from the free radicals that damage cells and could lead to serious disease such as cancer or heart disease.

Sources of Vitamin C:

What else does Vitamin C do?
- Keeps your skin young
Help Vitamin C out by avoiding carbohydrates and fats other than linoleic acid; they are thought to make skin worse! According to one study, 4000 women from 40 - 74 talked about their diets from the day before. When a dermatologist examined their skin, they found sagging and lackluster. That Quick!
On the other hand, women who consumed vitamin C-rich foods were nearly 11 percent less likely to have a wrinkled appearance and 7 percent less likely to have dry skin that comes with growing older.
Worried about stroking out?
Guess what! Raising your level of vitamin C in the bloodstream. lowers your risk of stroke. The more C in the blood. the less risk. That was found by British researchers with the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer discovered. They tested more than 20,000 middle-aged men and women for almost 10 years!
Even considering other common risk factors for stroke that included smoking, physical acticity, age and bloodpressure did not change the findings.
So, pop the C's daily! Your body will thank you!
How Much? That's debatable but here's a suggestion: 1000mg of C has been Doctor Approved for most people. It can help with symptoms of asthma, harmful effects of pollution, allergies, and tissue growth and repair.
Having surgery or recovering?
Vitamin C is crucial for helping the body heal after injury or surgery. (Always check with your physician - many encourage the intake of Vitamin C)
Many varieties of C are available, EsterC has a great buffered coating for no stomach upset. There are great chewables for the kids, a MUST for school time.
I kept the kids healthy with fruits and vegetables and daily C!

Yes, Marisue, I will not forget my Vitamin C.
Great reminder for people like me who only remember my Vitamin C when I have colds.
Hi franciaonline!! Vitamin C, as a daily habit, providing we take at least 1000 mg and more when we have a problem, will, in my opinion, help us stay healthy and prevent the pain from arthritis, and fight many diseases. (always consult a physician for specific health issues....)
