Thirst is an indication that the entire body needs More water. Beverages are often used to quench thirst. However, water is the best option to quench thirst. Substituting water with beverages such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, soda or both aerated drinks can adversely affect health. All these beverages contain preservatives, colours, sugar, etc. that are acidic in nature. Many soft drink contain diluted phosphoric acid. The acid can damage the inner lining of the digestive tract and phosphorus in the blood. The body needs to maintain a steady ratio of phosphorus and calcium in the calcium displacement from the bones can make it porous and brittle.
Coffee and tea are acidic in nature. They also tend to execute more calcium from the body because of caffeine. when stimulate the adrenal gland to release adrenal into the blood stream as a result, the blood sugar enhanced soon after taking a cup of coffee. However, this enhance performance will soon come down and you will therefore feel the need to drink more coffee. Increased desire to drink more coffee can ultimately lead to addiction to it.
Tea contains some amounts of coffee and tannin. Tannin is a chemical substance which is toxic in nature.
Cola drinks contain large amounts of caffeine. Some caffeine is also available large amounts of caffeine in the chocolates.
In the case treated drinking water is not available, you can consume tender coconut water or juices from fresh fruits and vegetables.

Water is definitely a requirement for a strong and healthy body. Afraid I'm not ready to give up my morning cups of java. LOL
There are so many negative effects of soft drinks, coffee, tea, but there are some positives too - well, not for soft drinks...:-) Green tea especially has many good antioxidants quite helpful within our cells. Coffee is still discussed up and down - and probably 'science' will give more varying opinions on all the above. Balance is the key - and double the water intake! :-) Thank you for sharing your info!
