How to get indexed your Blog/Site in search-engine results page: Know the secrets to grabbing #1 search engine positions: Optimizing Pages for Particular Keywords: How to appear at the top of a search-engine results page when someone search terms your Blog/Site contained:

Your goal is to appear at the top of a search-engine results page when someone searches your blog/site terms. You need them coming up in the search to get more traffic. Even if you’re not top, but in the first few positions, you can still get a lot of traffic. Because everybody wants to make money online so the only way is to get right up there on the search engine. If you drop “below the fold,” though, traffic drops off dramatically. And if you’re on page 2, even at the top, you’ll see only a small fraction of the traffic garnered by the #1 position.

There are a lot of techniques that can be used in search engine optimization that can help by following few basic rules, you can create blogs/sites that will be indexed by the search engines. And by creating pages that are “search-engine friendly,” you have a good chance of ranking well and getting traffic when people search for the keywords to which your blog/site is related.

You want your blog/website pages listed at top in major search engines! Know the secrets to grabbing #1 search engine positions!

As we mentioned before, this is a text game; you need plenty of content (that is, words) typed into your pages. Why exactly is that? Well, search engines try to match keywords typed into the search engine with words from the web pages, in order to index. If they can’t find the keywords, they have nothing to match.

Furthermore, there are other criteria. The engine can’t simply give someone every page with the keywords in them; it has to rank those pages somehow. And it uses criteria such as these:

  • How often does the keyword appear in the page? (More is better, within reason.)
  • How many pages in the site contain the keyword?
  • How many links point to the page with the keyword in the link text?
  • Is the keyword in the page’s <TITLE> tag? How close to the beginning of the title?
  • Is the keyword in any headings in the page?
  • Is the keyword in any body text in the page? Is it near the top of the page?
  • And more . . . .

You may have a list of 50 to 100 keyword phrases you’ve decided to focus on . . . but you can’t optimize all your pages for all 50. One strategy is to create a page for every keyword you are interested in, optimize the page for just that keyword, but then ensure some of the other keywords are also included in the page.

As you can see, you need text. You can use the text in your pages to give the search engine clues as to what the page is all about, by where and how often you place the keywords in the page.

This description refers to some HTML-coding terms. You cannot optimize web pages without understanding HTML, and we don’t have room to teach it, so we’re going to assume a basic understanding of HTML tags.

Here’s a simple summary of the process. Let’s say we’re optimizing for the term “iPhone theme” (which, admittedly, isn’t used as a search term very often for some reason!):

1. Pick the keyword phrase for which you want to optimize a page.

Place the <TITLE> tag immediately below the <HEAD> tag at the top of the page.

2. Ensure that the keyword appears at least once in the page’s title (created using the <TITLE></TITLE> tags).

The title is the text that appears in the browser’s title barwhen the page is loaded. The keywords can appear twice if you wish, at the beginning and end of the tag, with various other keywords in between—no more than around 50–70 characters, like this:

<TITLE>Latest iPhone themes, Free iphone themes download here! Best iPhone themes available</TITLE>

3. The page description is indexed by the search engines, and sometimes even displayed on the search-results page.

Create a DESCRIPTION metatag using the term, starting with the term. Again, use it a couple of times, mixed in with other keywords, to a maximum of around 250 characters, like this:

<META NAME="description" CONTENT="iPhone themes. Free iPhone themes download here!!. Best iPhone themes available iPhone 3g themes, Help, Tutorials , Tricks and Tips and more.">

4. Create a KEYWORDS metatag containing the keyword and other related terms.

Limit the tag to around 10 or 15 words, and don’t use too much repetition. Something like this could work:

<META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="iPhone themes , iPhone 3g themes, free iPhone , iPhone downloads, iPhone Tutorials, free iPhone downloads, Latest iPhone themes, Themes for free download, 3g iPhone themes, iPhone Tutorials, iPhone tricks, iPhone tips, iPhone Help ">

You can forget about other metatags, such as the REVISIT-AFTER tag, although many web designers will tell you they are important. As far as the search engines go, they have little or no effect.

<meta name="revisit-after" content="1 days" />

<meta name="robots" content="index, follow">

5. Use the keywords in the ALT attribute of IMAGE tags.

The ALT attribute creates the“pop-up” text that appears when you point to an image in a web page. For instance, on a product picture you might have this:

<IMG SRC="Cars iPhone theme.jpg" ALT="iPhone themes-Cars theme ">

6. Put the keywords into the headings on the page, using <H> tags.

If a search engine finds keywords in a heading, it will consider it to be one of the more significant terms on the page. For instance:

<H1>iPhone themes for free download </H1>

7. Put the keyword into the body text, and use it multiple times.

Don’t overdo it; if the text sounds clumsy, like you’ve been using the keyword over and over again—because you have!—you’ve almost certainly gone too far.

8. Place the keyword into bulleted lists, italic text, and bold text, and in some places.

Usethe keyword in title text (iPhone themes rather than just iPhone themes, iPhone themes & iPhone themes)—stressing the term in some way may give the search engine a clue that it’s important.

  • Best iPhone themes
  • Latest iPhone themes
  • New iPhone themes

If you have a brick-and-mortar store, include location information on your pages, too, such as the full address and ZIP code. “Geo” searching is getting very good these days, and people are beginning to search with keywords in combination with city names and ZIP codes. Include this information and you have a very good chance of ranking well.

9. Use the term in a Comment tag a couple of times, like this,

<!-- iPhone themes Page Begins Here -->

Body of the webpage here.

<!-- iPhone themes Page Ends Here -->

10. Submit your blog to social bookmarking sites.

There are plenty of social bookmarking sites like, Digg.com, Stumbleupon.com, Delicious.com, Furl.com, Mixx.com and Twitter.com. That will increase your blog traffic and display your site pages in other small search engines. Do you know these days there are huge number of small search engines that will collects information from social bookmarking sites and other blog submission sites to get indexed your site.

11. Comments on other blogs, join in forums.

Post comments on other blogs is small but one of the chance to know that your blog/site is important. Search your keywords in Google, Yahoo, MSN and other major search engines. Open up the pages that come up in first 5 to 10 pages and write good, relevant comments and insert a link to your website that allows you to free then you'll get lots more traffic to your site/blog.
