Kroger Online Job Application

Congratulation you want to work at Kroger. Kroger is a grocery store chain that has been in service for over 100 years. Filling out Kroger online job applications can be a bit of a hassle though. As with most job applications it’s extremely lengthy, and there’s the possibility of losing the internet in the middle of the application. But that’s the risk we take when filling out stuff online. Now onto the fun part, the application.

Filling out the application is easy; it’s usually done on their main website and will let you know that you’re going to have to give information out. Obviously you’re going to agree to this because you wouldn’t be here in the first place if you didn’t want to give the info out on the application. This is just the first of many double checks to make sure you want to apply. How you accidentally apply for a job I’ll never know but anyways.

First off they will ask for your name, social security, phone number, and address. This is to confirm you arte who you say you are and have a valid address. After this they will in some cases but not always ask for a resume. This is a piece of paper that you fill out to give to potential employers, essentially it has all your accomplishments, education, previous work experience, and future goals listed.

You give this to potential employers to accelerate the application process. After you give your resume you will then be asked some more confirmation questions to ensure again you are who you say you are. Then you are taken to the physiological tests. These tests are the most annoying thing on the face of the planet. It’s essentially a fill in the dots questionnaire. You will be asked a question and then be given between 2 and 5 check boxes or circles to mark.

Please keep in mind companies often switch the providers of their online application software programs. In between the time this article was written and the time you read it things may have changed, so don’t come after me if it’s different. After the barrage of 20 which describes you best questions you will then be asked if you are legal to work in the country, if you have any criminal records, and if you have served in the military. The option for “are you a victim of hurricane Katrina “has been removed from most apps as it’s no longer needed.

Yes that was an option on job applications for about 4 years after the storm. After you’ve finished spending about 40 minutes filling out your online application and provided the power hasn’t gone out or your isp hasn’t hiccupped you can then submit it. They will review it and if they think you can work for them they will call you.

In closing the Kroger online job application is a complex and often tiresome thing. It can be irritating at time and even make you want to rip your hair out. But seeing as this is who things are moving you really don’t have a choice. Goods luck on your job hunt.
