Kumpi Dog Food - Healthy Dog Foods?
Pet Food Danger Gauge Used
Products made by Crosswind Pet food Industries.
Personal Note I don't often find that a pet food company uses the same basic formula in each of their pet products. Kumpi Dog Food has used the same awful ingredients in their Puppy, Adult, and Senior dry dog foods.
Dog Food reviews are based on if Gluten, Corn, Soy, Wheat, Animal Digest are present in your pet's cat food. Extra points are awarded for the good stuff in the pet food. Points are deducted if by-products and other junk are used to produce these pet foods.

To petfoodguy65.... I agree with you. It won't be long before Kumpi and other companies sue Susan Peters for Libel. Susan Peters is not a qualified pet food nutritionist or veterinarian, she is a pet groomer (if that's even true) from Oklahoma looking to earn extra income from being a "HubPage Author". That is her only motive here. Unfortunately, she's been doing it for two years and misleading genuine pet owners with her contradictory, totally insane reviews. She has also tried to earn money recently by suing a pet food company. The judge in that case (Cecilia M. Altonaga) even stated, and I quote: "while some statements in Peters' declaration differ with those in her deposition and interrogatory answers, these conflicts present questions of credibility...". you can read this court case on line by going to:
http://docs.justia.com/cases/federal/district-cour
If you're unable to click on the link just copy and paste it to a search engine. If you use Google it should be the first result (after the Ads). It says: [PDF]Order denying 523 Motion for Summary Judgment..." If you copy and paste it to Ask.com it will open right up to the case; a much better search engine.
You will read for yourself that Susan Peters truly is not a credible person, she is only looking to make money. She stumbles all over herself after the Judge reads her written statements as to where she bought her pet food ...only to learn the stores she mentioned never carried those particular brands of dog food. The court actually gave her at least three times to reconsider her statements before making them fact, unaware the court knew the stores she mentioned did not carry the brand of pet food she was suing. I hope Susan Peters is convicted of her fraudulent behavior. Not only for confusing innocent pet owners but of being totally oblivious to the potential harm she could be causing innocent pets by recommended the wrong pet foods! And... suing people may just come back to bite her on the butt.
I am not a vet or a groomer or even at this point a pet owner. In 1 week we will be the proud owners of a rescued dog, so I have been investigating foods for my new friend. 70% toxic. Wow! I know people who have used Kumpi for several years and their dogs are still living - guess that makes "70% toxic" impossible. All of them are healthy. I don't know if it is a good, great or the best food out there - but it can't possibly be toxic. What an idiot!
To crh,
Congratulations on becoming a proud pet parent :) ... and, bless your heart for rescuing! Unfortunately, you were led to this bogus site, as I was a few months ago. To help you with your research, if you don't mind, I'd like to leave you with a few websites to explore:
http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/ (click onto 'reviews')
http://www.consumersearch.com/... with this site, just put "pet food ratings" in the search bar.
http://www.petfoodratings.net/
http://iml.jou.ufl.edu/projects/Spring04/Perhach/ ... if this link doesn't work, please search (or 'google'): "The truth behind pet food" (written and maintained by Paulette Perhach). Awesome site!
Please stay far away from any Nutro products. Some review sites seem to be oblivious to the controversy swirling around this company. Nutro is killing our pets with their poison and have been getting away with it for years. Just google: "is nutro killing our pets" to see the results. I know this has nothing to do with pet food, but you also have to be careful of deadly flea & tick products as well. This topic was recently on the news, but not covered in-depth like it should've been. Of course, you can find all the info you need by searching that as well.
I wish you all the best with your new furr-baby... and many happy, HEALTHY, years together :)
p.s. please remember to use heartworm prevention (not ProHeart 6, though, too much controversy on that one). I use Heartgard Plus chewables for my dogs and cats, but ask your vet. We rescued a 3 yr old Eskie last summer, unknowingly with HW disease, and did everything to try and save him... he passed away only six months ago. Losing him shattered our hearts in a million pieces :(
(sorry for my lengthy message... I have a problem keeping them short!)
Wow, this is seriously stupid. First of all, I feed my dog Kumpi and its very healthy. Secondly, 70% toxic is just...wow.
Please do your research!!!
I also found it interesting that not only was Kumpi named toxic, but so were several other very high quality foods such as EVO, Taste of the Wild, etc. All named as "toxic". All of which were rated extremely high by dogfoodanalysis.com. I'm glad I didnt just take the word for it here, and always choose to do my own research.
My dogs have been on Kumpi for 6 months now and have never been healtier. My cats have been on Kumpi cat for 6 months also and have never been healthier. I have spoken directly to the owner and the phone and she is knowledgeable, passionate and intelligent, wish I could say the sam efor you. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about!

This pet food is not dangerous nor is it toxic. You are very misinformed and have not only defamed but commited a libel act by making false statements that the food is dangerous and toxic. I would encourage your readers to visit http://www.kumpi.com to learn the truth as well as http://kumpikares.blogspot.com to read product reviews by customers.
