About Kym Marsh
Kym Marsh is an actress and singer who currently plays the role Michelle Connor ITV's Coronation Street. Previously she had been part of the band hearsay after taking part in the Popstars talent show in 2001.
After leaving hearsay in 2002, Kym launched a solo career and her first single Cry reached number two in the UK charts during 2003. In 2006 she came fourth in making your mind up -- a TV show to choose the singer who would represent the UK in the Eurovision Song contest.
Between 2004 and 2005 Kym appeared at Annette in West End musical Saturday Night Fever.
