Who doesn’t want to have a little fun with LED lights? LED lights if you didn’t know, are actually much better power consumption wise and are used for a lot of great things like billboards or signs (like the LED Sign hat) or even for traffic lights and crazy multi color party lights (see Multi-Color LED Lightbulb w/Remote).

Programmable Scrolling LED Sign Hat

This hat is pretty cool, at least from the first look of it. You can display messages with it by programming in whatever messages you want. You could type in something like “I am sweet with my new hat.” Honestly though, who are we kidding? It probably makes you look like a geek, but who cares, now we can advertise whatever message we want on our hat. Is it hard to program in the messages? From what I’ve heard, it is not as difficult as it looks. The “programming” is not much programming, but in any case there is an instruction booklet to help you.

Multi-Color LED Lightbulb w/Remote

Light-emitting diodes are darn cool and have found uses in so many places - traffic lights, standard lightbulb sockets and high-powered flashlights to name a few. The Multi-Color LED Lightbulb is a super bright LED bulb that can transition through dozens of color and brightness combinations and is compatible with a standard lightbulb socket. The included IR remote can select an individual color or brightness level or choose one of four different transition effects. Great for mood lighting, decorating, parties or special lighting environments. Light like these are great for Halloween. It lets you change the color from a distance and scare the kids. Another practical use would be your own disco or techno party with changing colored lights. Why not use it to make the room a little romantic by making everything all red?
