LEGOs are a great way to entertain just about anyone of any age. I'm 23 and love LEGOs. Although, it's been a while since I've had the time to build a full set, I want to say that my last LEGO kit was a Star Wars one.

There are so many to choose from, whether you want to build a ship, cruiser, dock, or whatever else, there's always sets to choose from- some smaller and some larger.

Who knows, maybe you'll have a nice sized collection of LEGO kits that tell a story or depict a famous scene in a movie.

LEGOs leave everything up to your imagination, so it's up to you to fulfill that mental creativity crave.

The Lego Group has manufactured tons and tons of colored bricks and shapes that shape together in place to form whatever constructions and builds that you want, but the company, also, manufactures sets where you can build specific shapes and figures. Some of the more popular sets include Harry Potter, Batman, SpongeBob, castles, dragons, robots, cars, Pirates of the Carribean, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars.

Now, that you know there are so many options that you can choose from in regards to gifts for friends and family, of just a fun weekend project for yourself, check them out, but the collection that you should spend more time looking at is the Star Wars collection.

Whether you know somone who likes Star Wars or whether you like the movie collection, yourself, the LEGO sets are wide and varied.

Because some of these LEGO sets are rather large with well over 300 pieces, at times, you want to create an easy construction method. My tip is that when you open up the bags, you group together similarly shaped and colored pieces so that you don't have to spend the extra time sifting through the pieces while you're actually building the construction.

When you're done for the day, you want to keep all the different lego pieces kept individually, or else you'll have to re-separate them again the next time. This is where ziplocks come in handy. You can use different sized ziplocks to accomodate the sizes of the different groups of legos. (Basically, larger groups of one type go in larger bags, and you can put smaller groups in smaller bags.)

When choosing a LEGO set, you want to make sure that it's age appropriate. It will really frustrate a 6 year old that he can't complete a set that has over 500 pieces in one or two sittings, whereas an older child would normally be content and slow and steady wins the race.

You want to access the child, or adults, mental ability to be able to complete a small, medium, or large kit.

Next, you want to decide do you want to purchase a fighter ship, battle scene, cruiser, droid, clone, or whatever kit your can find.

Then, purchase. It's that simple.

And for the gamer in the group, or family, you may want to check out the LEGO Star Wars video games. There are LEGO games for nearly all of the game consoles. You can find Star Wars video games for Wii, PSP, DS, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PC, and Mac.
