LEGO Clone Wars

LEGO Clone Wars Systems

Just as in previous Star Wars movie releases, the LEGO Group has created a series of LEGO systems based on the Clone Wars movie.  These LEGO systems have been a hugely popular series and many fans of both the Star Wars films and of LEGO are flocking to buy these sets before they are discontinued.  Many discontinued LEGO sets are worth quite a bit of money so this is typically considered a good investment by Star Wars enthusiasts.

For this particular set of Star Wars LEGOs, many of the characters that were already made into LEGO mini figures were created again and made to look a bit different.  They have a more cartoon like look and feel to them and do a good job of representing the characters from the Clone Wars film itself.  Many fans have not quite taken to this new look but most argue that LEGO has done tremendous work in keeping to the theme of this animated movie.

Many of the LEGO Clone Wars sets are simply a different version of already released Star Wars LEGO Sets, like the Republic attack Gunship, which was released as a set in 2002 and then released again as the Clone Wars version in 2008.  There are of course many differences between the two versions as far as building them goes, but the end result is relatively the same.  Also the mini figures included in the two versions are quite different.

One of the favorite sets from the LEGO Clone Wars series is the The Twilight 7680.  This is Anakin Skywalker's personal vessel from the Clone Wars film and has a ton of character.  The Star Wars LEGO mini figures that are included with this set are also quite unique.  These include Anakin and the very popular Ahsoka Tano, plus more.

It is highly recommended that you pick these Clone Wars LEGO sets up while they are still available and easy to acquire!
