LG Viewty Review - Worth The Wait?
With a price tag of AU$899.00, you hope the LG Viewty is well worth it! Announced in August 2007, the LG Viewty was released a mere 2 months later (in October 2007).
It's not a badly sized phone... it could be a lot chunkier! The Viewty's measurements are: 103.5mm in length, 54.4mm in width and 14.8mm in thickness. Not bad, huh? Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, it weighs 112 grams! As for the screen size, it is 3 inches! The LG Viewty can handle Polyphonic and MP3 ringtones (thank the lord). It comes with vibration but unfortunately the battery life is a let down as it looks pretty dull with a stand-by time of 4.5hrs and a talk time of 4hrs. I guess this is a good phone for people who don't talk too much (*sigh*).Data and memory-wise, the Viewty is a handy little thing. It has a phone book that can hold 500 entries, call records that can hold 40 dialled, 40 received and 40 missed calls. Its shared memory is 100MB but it does take MicroSD memory cards so there is no problem with expanding. Another good thing about this phone is that it has Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS, EDGE and a USB port (v2.0). Oh, and just so you know, the LG Viewty is available in 2 colours; black and silver.

I really liked this phone, my cousin's husband has one and I think it's everything the iPhone should have been. If I didn't have my N95-8gb I'd definately have bought this.
