If you are an analog TV owner in the united states, you must be aware that the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has announced that all transmissions for analog tv will end a year from now. This gives you two options, either to buy a digital tv or to buy a converter for your existing analog tv.

The analog to digital conversion ends on February 17, 2009

National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) of the U.S. has approved the Zenith DTT900 as one of Coupon Eligible analog to digital tv converter boxes.

The LG Zenith DTT900 costs $60. You just have to pay $20 in addition to the $40 off coupon available.

Do you have any information about how well this converter box works? I know a lot of them have had glitches in them. I am looking for a good one that doesn't have any problems. Have you heard of which ones are the best?

Remote control does not work unless one inch from signal light. Directions say can be used 7 feet away or more. What gives?

Remote works at a distance when bright lights, like floor lamps, are turned off.
