La Boca

The La Boca neighborhood is the Italian neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Here you can find brightly colored buildings, shopping, and tango dancing.

I found this place to be great for souvenir shopping. You can find the normal souvenirs such as T-shirts, pins, keychains, and postcards. You can also find handcrafted chess boards, fur coats, and things made out of rodocrosita. Rodocrosita is Argentina's national stone and is only found in Argentina.

La Boca is considered the place where the Tango originated. In the neighborhood, you can find places to watch others tango in the streets. You can even learn to tango.
