Laetitia Casta is a French fashion model, one of the world's most famous supermodels, a stupendous beauty with unforgettable face, long legs and sexy figure who has, almost single-handedly reversed the 'skinny' trend in top fashion.

As well as gracing the front pages of the top magazines such as Glamour, Vogue, and Cosmopolitan, she was voted, in 1999, as the ten year long representation of France, Marianne, an allegorical symbol of the French Republic, whose bust stands inside every French town hall.

Laetitia Casta was born in May, 1978, in Pont-Audemer, France. Her mother is French and her father Corsican. She was brought up in her mother's native Normandy and was discovered, age 15 by a talent scout from the agency Madison's Models, when on a family holiday in her father's native Corsica. It didn't take the agency long to realise they had a beautiful winner on their hands and Laetitia was signed up initially with Guess? Jeans for a high profile and succesful advertising campaign.

Laetitia Casta was now an established figure on the 'haute couture' scene and she became one of the leading models for Victoria's Secret lingerie company and also made a number of commercials for L'Oreal cosmetics company. Her career has been one success story and she has also been in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for three consecutive issues and also does modeling work for Ralph Lauren's perfume 'Notorious'. If this isn't enough she's in the fabulous Pirelli calendar. Wow! What a girl!
