Laid Bare
50
Somewhere along this stroll down the path
Before we got to the Garden, us ones
Went through a gate whose brambled aftermath
Branched off toward varying destinations
We decided we would go together
After some little hurt and fighting chose
A path and found some pretty places were
Worth lying down together in, or pose
In a self-cariacature amusing
each other. Softly tied your thigh to mine
With a silk tie, stumbling along, using
Reciprocal radar to guage our minds
At each choice of direction, though shouted
Our hearts so loudly as to leave reason
Suspect. Brambles tore away our costume
Secrets, so come we now to this season
Where innocence we no longer presume.
Fair enough, I say
Untie the tie and strip the leaf away
Down before you I lay
Wait to see if you will stay
I know I can't make you and wouldn't if I could
But please conider staying, I really think you should

Well, you know how I would vote. Thank you, Gypsy!
Hmmm...sounds too good to not want to be anywhere else!
That's it! That's what I need. Good PR!
Good video...and great poem.
Thank you, Invictus.
feel like I am walking the path, great poem.
Thank you, Hawkesdream. It has been a vivid time for me.
i think i might just go.....
Dont you just absolutely hate it when someone calls you dear, I know I do
if I did hate it, I would certainly not address you that way. I will delete my comment forthwith and redo. Here:
"Go then, Brenda. I will still be here."
i am going, might be back when I am in a better mood, we will see if you are still here, maybe you will be at the pool
Farewell! I think I'll avoid the pool. I kind of embarrassed myself there.
and everyone looking as well, just thought you were behaving like a teenager at your age, but what can you expect from men.... got myself into an argument with golden toad, i think i will go to bed early before I upset anyone else
Well, then, sleep well. Personally I take my display as a sign of good health.
get a shower, and write a poem
You just described my life! You must be clairvoyant
maybe I can read your mind from here,
Maybe you can. :)
Dont let that one talk to you like that you will be a famous poet one day, and everybody will spoil you....... I will spoil you now, but your heart is elsewhere x
Perhaps I will be a famous "not telling." I hope these lowly works will live on as a monument to my love, who deserves to be remembered as the beautiful, loving, generous and sensual person she is.
well maybe but if you get famous we will see your face, would you like that.....
you might even get on the telly
If they try to get me on the telly I'll hide in the loo.
well what about your book, you will have to have a picture on the front, and book signings....... this girl does she really love you even if she has not seen you, have you seen her
I am "not telling"
