Landscape Design For All
48Why Landscaping?
Why design a landscape? The answer is simple: to enjoy. A little planning and some imagination can give homeowners delightful outdoor environments with which to greet their guests and, perhaps more importantly, to enjoy themselves.
I have worked towards providing pleasing outdoor environments now for 3 decades, helping in the planning as well as the construction phases of landscaping. My commerical experience acquainted me with what is possible, but it was the residential home installations which always proved by far the most enjoyable.
What I like to think I have provided was another avenue for a home owner to relax outdoors at his own place and drink deeply of what man and Nature can combine to do to make life all the more interesting. Developing plants and flowers, constructions that gurgle with the sound of water, lighting up a dark night and opening this new room - all these things are well within the power of a good design.

Landscaping Rocks
The glories of landscaping include everything in our outdoors, including changes of seasons and night time itself. Flowers, plants, trees and elements of design can combine to render something magnificent out of something just so-so. A driveway can become something far more. A walkway can bristle with activity with no people. Water can suddenly become a friendly companion. Landscaping releases the artist in us all as well as the proud and intriguing home owner.
