I don't know about you, but I need a large mirror in my home. I am not really talking about a gargantuan room size mirror. What I enjoy is a full-length mirror I can check my outfit in. We all know how important that is, ladies. I change clothes sometimes six times before I go out. My man tries to be helpful, but you know how powerful the self-image thing can be! So in short, I need my large mirror. Maybe now, you realize you do, too. That is why this hub is here -- to be a resource for anyone (men, too) who might be shopping for a big mirror to get a good look at themselves. There really quite a good many large mirrors available -- from bare basic, to overly ornate. In between is best!

If like me, you need a nice large mirror in your home, I hope you find this hub the resource for you!

The best thing about a full-length mirror is it shows me what I need to see. The clothes that looked good last week, may not seem so special this day. If so, I need to know. That is why my large mirror is my friend. I own one with a nice black painted frame. It is simple, but not too so. It is classy -- maybe classier than me.

The thing about large mirrors -- and all mirrors -- is they come in a variety of styles. I have seen a large mirror that was mostly plastic -- fit for a dorm room! Perhaps, as we mature and own homes and so forth, we need a little something more -- something a little more detailed, a little more grown up. If you are like me, you need this, anyway. And you can get it! Large mirrors come in wood frames -- stained or painted -- metal frames, frames that are also mirror-finished, ornate as can possibly be, and even with no frame at all, as you no doubt know. When no frame at all is involved, you can still be looking at a very classy mirror, especially when it is a large ovular mirror. I do so like those!

As for drawbacks of large mirrors, I see two. It boils down to heavy and loud. I have heard that heavy and loud are good when it comes to rock music. When it comes to mirrors, heavy and loud are bad things, in my (not so) humble opinion. A heavy mirror may damage your wall -- especially since the walls of most who will read this are drywall. Steer clear of the heavy, unless you know your wall can handle it. Also, steer clear of the loud, unless loud home furnishings are just your thing. Who am I to judge? I just dole out advice as best I can.

If you need advise as to where to buy a large mirror online, I would most suggest two websites -- Overstock.com and SimplyMirrors.com. They have good selections.

A good selection will better help you find a good mirror, and I hope you do see yourself in a good large mirror very soon.
