Possibly paranormal pictures or oddities is not my usual choice for something to write about, but I have this image of my daughter with a large orb that I always like to hear people opinions about. I googled orbs and compared the one I have of my 4 year old to those with of dust, rain, bugs. etc.

This orb just seems different. I have caught other orbs before, especially at birthday parties and such. None have ever even come close to being so large in relation to the person or object next to them. I am reasonably skeptic about orbs and other seemingly paranormal phenomena that can be explained with more down to earth answers. This orb however, showing next to my possibly psychically sensitive daughter in a very clean apartment always makes me wonder. Is it a ghost? Is my kid manifesting this?

For a little background, since my daughter was old enough to talk she has shown signs that she is sensitive, or psychic.

I don't think that my 4 year old can read minds, and know exactly what a person is thinking at any time. I have asked her before, quizzing her to see if she can just perform at a whim, she can not. I do believe that she can pick up on ideas, images, and thoughts. She has done this so many times, that I don't question she is picking up on thoughts of others, I just really don't think she has any concept that she's doing it.

For example, just recently while at a friends house the eleven year old younger sister of my friend was coming to ask if she could have an OtterPop. She hadn't said a word and the moment she walked past the chair my daughter was sitting in, My little girl dropped the playdough and leaped out of her chair and said very excitedly "I want an Otterpop, Mom can I have an OtterPop." The eleven year old said oh my gosh can she read minds. I was just going to spell out Otterpop to see if I could have one. I smiled and said "ya, I think so"

Another incident of many, when my daughter was just 2 1/2 I was sitting at the table, my mother and daughter at the other side of the kitchen. In my head while eating from a bowl of 4 month of sweethearts from Valentines day, I said to myself "Man these things last forever, they never taste old". About 10 minutes later, my daughter is sitting on the other side of me at the table and starts pointing to the candies saying "for -ever for..ever"

While I am totally open to the possibility that the orb really is just dust, or something else that can be explained rationally without relating to anything paranormal. It does have some merit that if it is indeed "paranormal" and the possibility of something drawing energy, that it may be linked to her sensitive abilities?

Is it dust? Is it a ghost? Or, if I start taking more pictures when she is displaying her psychic talents would I catch more large orbs? Is it possibly that this orb is the result of my daughter pulling a form of energy not visible to the human eye from the room? I was not there when this picture was taken, but it was photographed with a digital camera by my sister. The area my daughter is in is at the far end of the hallway that leads to the front door.
