How To Make Lasagna
Coming from an Italian family, I am very picky on pasta. I have yet to find a good lasagna that I didn't make myself. Why add all those special ingredients and risk your kids not liking it? Follow this recipe and I promise that your kids as well as you will love it!
You will need:
Lasagna dish/pan
1 Box of Lasagna shells
1 1/2 big bottles of Prego
Big bag of shredded cheese or two smaller ones (The ones from Costco work great)
1 lb lean ground beef.
Instructions:
Cook the lasagna shells in water until soft. While lasagna shells are cooking, cook the ground beef until fully brown. Drain the lasagna shells and start warming the Prego. Add the meat to the sauce. Once your sauce is warmed, it's time to start layering. Take your lasagna dish and add a thin layer of the meat sauce. Then add the lasagna shells (normally 3 side by side will work) followed by sauce, then cover that in cheese. Repeat that process until you are out of shells. It is up to you how much cheese and sauce you want to use but I never skimp out on it since my family love extra sauce and cheese.
Preheat the oven to 350. Once it is heated, cook for 30 minutes. It is ready to go from there.
I hope you enjoy that.
