I Must Confess… Charlotte liked to think she was feeling quite positive, Considering the circumstance, but really, deep down there was a mass of emotions she wasn’t quite sure what to do with, and just wanted to get today over.
She knew she’d been taking a huge risk doing what she did, but Charlotte just couldn’t let someone get away with Murder.
Beyond the Grave Andy moved slowly towards the lady on the ground, not wanting to make a sound, but not quite sure why. He gradually bent down and reached out wanting to feel a pulse, when a shadow flitted beyond the graves and made his heart momentarily jump into his throat.
Miranda Frost Waking the next morning with a horrible stiff neck, Miranda dragged herself into the shower, standing there with the steaming hot water hitting her face, her eye caught the razor on the sink, and suddenly she was thinking how easy it would be to just end it all right here and now.
Crossing Over She tried to listen, but her mind wouldn’t let her, she had to see who was under the white sheet, it was a matter of life or death, literally!
For the rest of the Journey, Megan just sat with her head in her hands, trying to make some logical sense, of all the information swirling round inside her, it felt like some kind of emotional tornado, the more she thought, the more messed up it seemed.
Second Chances It was a bitter cold night; the dark was piercing and the moon was covered by clouds, tiny spots of rain fell every now and then, threatening more. Exactly the kind of night Scott loved; he could sneak about the park and not get spotted, as nobody else would be out in this weather.
Ducking from tree to tree, so as not to be seen, although it didn’t really matter, he finally found what he was looking for.
Emily Black Seth desperately wanted to get her to stop struggling; Emily flung her arms in every direction, trying to get him to loosen his grip, she was finally proving to be too much for him. He pushed her again with all his strength; she hit her head on the door frame, knocking herself unconscious. She slid down the wall into a heap on the floor.
