55Laurell K. Hamilton (Reiview 2)
The 17 books from the Anita Blake serise just weren't enough, Laurell just writes and I'm drawn to her books. The Meredith Gentry serise is about a Woman, that comes from a royal family, but she has no desire to be apart of that family any longer because her father has passed and her mother abandoned her when she was young because she wasn't the perfect looking child.
in the Faerie serise you get a little bit of everything to pull you out of reality and trust you into a world that's just like ours except with added magic and monsters. Multiply sex partners is normally a bad thing for us regular girls, but for Meredith it's something she has to do. The books Laurell writes helps make females not feel as bad if they've had more then one sex partner, and the sex sceens in the books are amazing!
these books are the ones that you'll have a hard time putting down because with every page theres something that grabs at you and pulls you to read more. The only thing I didn't really like was the book Mistral's Kiss, honestly I felt that that book and "A Lick of Frost" could have been put together in one book. Other then that everything was good.
If I had to pick one book so far out of the 7 writen as my favourite it would be "Seduced By Moonlight" Which is actually the third book in the serise but the first one I read by Laurell K. Hamilton. I'm excited for the 8th book in the serise "Swallowing Darkness" which comes out November 4th 2008.
Each of the books in the serise are based on the main character Meredith "Merry" Gentry and her "normal" life and job, and each one of the guys that she is currently sleeping with. Politics are a big deal for Laurell K. Hamilton, which is a very good thing. Theres tons of Politcs and you even get a feel of what it's like to be an actually star surrounded by the photographers and interviews, and some of the personal questions they continue to yell until they get a responce out of you.
Over time I'll write a individual review for each one of Laurell K. Hamiltons books, if there is one you would like to know about right now, then contact me and I'll get to the request books first.
