How do I keep motivated while using the Law of Attraction?
We often have a conflict between the will to change and the want to change. In our heads we intellectually want to make the change, but it doesn't necessarily translate into action. When we are trying to attract better things into our lives it's easy to see the end result not happening fast enough for us, and to give up. So how do we keep motivated?
It's easy to get sidetracked. To stop doing little things, and then to find one day we are doing nothing at all. Here are some hints to keep you on track:
Take changes one step at a time: Take baby steps and they'll soon add up. The Law of Attraction is about the journey, and getting there is most of the fun. Change one thing, and then another. If you do it all at once, you are setting yourself up for failure.
Be consistent: Make sure you are doing the small changes you've already made every day. If you have to make yourself a reminder list. This will help. Don't worry about being perfect, do it regardless. Before long the change will become a habit and you won't have to think about it any more.
If you get sidetracked, don't bash yourself up about it: Realise you can make mistakes and they are beneficial to you. If you get sidetracked, go back to your list and begin the baby steps again. It won't take long to get back on track.
Motivation is really a series of small steps that make up a big result. Once the goal is internalised into your unconscious mind it will be easier to stay on track, changing a want into effortless action. Take it small, do it often and pull yourself back on track if you need to.

Tips to help you keep on track
Here are a few things you can do when you feel you are moving off track:
- Ask yourself whether you've moved from trying to attain your own goals to attaining someone else's. If the drive isn't from within this could be why you're having so much trouble.
- Slow down. If you are in a rush you are most probably losing focus. There's no reason to rush because you will get there in the right time anyway.
- Be positive. Being negative, bashing yourself up, will not get you there any faster.
- Forgive yourself for your 'mistakes'. They are the thing from which we learn the most after all.
- Refocus on what your goal is, and make sure it's something that has meaning for you personally.
- Take a deep breath, relax and unhunch your shoulders. Getting tense won't do you any good anyway.
- Focus in on the here and now. This is where you can do the most good. The past is done with and the future will happen in its own time. Now is all you have and ever will have. By being here in the now you are shaping your future.
