Lazarus Gives New Life
61
I was drafting an autoresponder email message. It was a little lengthy and included some links to my blog and various other sites. I took a fair amount of time to put it all together and was quite proud of my work.
Then I pressed the "save" button and......GONE! My session had timed out and everything I had written was lost. I muttered a few things under my breath that I'm not proud of.
I know better than that. It's happened to me before. People have made recommendations that I save often or write things out in a notepad program before putting it into the autoresponder.
Then I remembered...."You downloaded 'Lazarus'"
What is Lazarus
Lazarus is a form recovery program. It's a Firefox extension that you can download for free.
If you've read very much of my work, you know that I'm a huge fan of Firefox. Read this post on the topic:

Lazarus Form Recovery adds one more reason that Firefox should be your browser of choice.
How Does Lazarus Work?
Lazarus works behind the scenes, securely saving each and every form while you type it. This allows you to recover all of your lost work any time the server timeouts, if you have network issues, if your browser crashes, when the power fails, and all of the other catastrophes that can happen while you're entering data into forms, editing content in your blog, writing emails in your online webmail program, etc, etc, etc...as the list goes on.

Thank you for the helpful tip. I have lost work as well. It is frustrating and sad to say the least. Tips are great.
That is one of the reasons I love hub pages, there is a ton of knowledge and gifted writers. Hugs
I took a look at Lazarus.
Do you find it way better then IE. Is it worth the switch? I just do not need any more complicated? Thanks
