Leadership and Wisdom

It says in

Proverbs 29:2

"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice:

but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." KJV

Dr Carl Baugh talks about how a nation deteriorates: He says

that they slip into apathy when they want the government to take care

of them.  Isn't that what we are asking the government to do now

with the healthcare reform and many other areas...banking, car company

bailout, etc??

History has proven, this is a dangerous place.

When we lose our right to choose and give our power over to

those in the government, we are on a decline.

Proverbs 16:12 says, "It is a horrible thing for a king

to do evil, His right to rule depends upon his fairness."

v-12 "The king rejoices when his people are truthful and fair."

We are told to PRAY:

1 Timothy 2:4 tells us "Pray in this way for kings and all

others who are in authority over us, or are in places of high

responsibility, so that we can live in peace and quietness,

spending our time in godly living and thinking much about

the Lord. This is good and pleases God our Savior, for He

longs for all to be saved and to understand the truth."

People need to hear the truth in order to be saved. In

communist countries it's hard to preach the GOOD NEWS of the

Gospel, that Jesus Christ came to the earth to live as a sinless

man and die on the Cross, for our sins, He was raised from the

dead on the third day and forever interceeding for us now!

Try it, they'll put you in prison or worse!

We don't know what that is like here in the U.S. to be persecuted

because we have had a country that is based on Christian principles

and have allowed God into our lives and yes even the government allowed

God in at one time! That's why they had Bibles, the Ten

Commandments and prayer was allowed in school and in the

Congress of the U.S. But, over the last several years our freedoms

are slowly being taken away...or should I say we as Christian

are giving them away.

Isaiah 60: tells us that we are to "ARISE and SHINE"

because the glory of the Lord is upon us!

It says that "GREAT DARKNESS will cover the earth"....

but God's glory will be upon us!

As Christians we must stay in the Word and pray, and stay close to Jesus!

We need to be like Jesus when He said, "I only do what I see the Father do".

I encourage everyone reading this who is a Christian, to pray.

Pray for the Lord's will in HEAVEN to be done on earth and in our

government. That's what Jesus said to pray. He also tells us

that whatever we BIND on EARTH shall be BOUND in Heaven...

bind means to FORBID! And whatever we LOOSE (that means allow)

on earth, God will loose (or allow) it in Heaven! For those who

know how to pray in the Spirit...do that too!

We can make a difference with prayer.
