It's hot, it's cold, it's hot, it's cold..... WAIT A MINUTES!! I thought that we went ALL the way down to Mission TX to get away from the cold!?!? Doesn't anyone understand-I HATE THE COLD!!!

again this morning it's cold; when I got up this morning the temp outside only said it was 39 degrees out! Brrrrrrr! And the bad part of it all-is daddy puts on HIS coat, but won't put mine on!!! He says that by not putting on my coat, I won't dink around and I will get my business done and get right back in....Well, HE'S RIGHT!! I just for once, would like to see him stick his behind out in the cold and try to go potty, now that would be funny!

As much as I really like my walks, when it's this cold, they only take me for a short walk and daddy does carry me and try to keep me warm. Yes, mommy puts on my coat so that does help me. At night, I do get to bundle up in their blankies and on thier lap and I get to snuggle up close under the covers at bedtime.

The only good thing is that it only stays cold for a few days and then we go back up to warmer temps. Just the other day we got 90 degrees; now THAT'S my kind of weather. They say we broke record with that temp. I could handle that if it's 90 degrees everyday.

Mommy and daddy and some of our friends say this has been too cold too early for down here; what's the rest of this winter going to be like-hope we don't see no snow; I never have seen that white stuff and I sure wouldn't know what to do with it.

I suppose I shouldn't complain too much, for up in the northern areas have had rain, sleet, some ice and yes, that white stuff!

Mommy hasn't done any outside training with me; for she has either been busy or it's just been too cold to play and train outside. Mommy has been sewing a lot lately. She is to be retired and enjoying me, not doing things for other people! Oh, I guess I should share her once in a while, or their friends might not like me, and I like to have my fun-so I guess I will behave.

Hey, guess what? the day that is was hot, I got left home all by myself in the rig all day, and I was a very good girl! So mommy and daddy bought me a new toy! It's a stuff duck that actually quacks! I really love it for it's noisy and I can shake the stuffin right out of it (no, not literally). My parents are going to have to buy me a bigger toy box pretty soon.

My mommy has made me a red and green necklace that has bells on it. So when I'm outside or going for a walk, I'm decked out for the holidays. Mommy also has this big Christmas Teddy Bear, and she won't let me play with it. She keeps telling me it's hers, not mine. So now she has put it completely out of my reach-not fair!

Mom is now telling me it's time for me to pose for pictures. Maybe I will pose nicely, maybe I won't.....stay tune to see
