In fact 4 out of 5 women will experience a leaky bladder. You don't need to be in your 60's or 70's to experience a leaky bladder; several women in their 20's will experience a leaky bladder.
Some females will experience a leaky bladder when they exercise as the extra movement tends to push the urine out. Usually women will start to experience bladder control problems when they reach the age of 30. Several things can cause a leaky bladder, its not always age that is the culprit.
One of the most common problems women find is looking for a way to reduce their stress load and care for their physical and emotional well-being. It is vital to your health to spend at least 30 minutes doing exercise on a daily basis. This will help your muscles to stay strong and it can help you gain control over your pelvic muscles that control your bladder. Reducing stress is a great way to help your body deal with the day-to-day challenges you face.
Always make time emptying your bladder often if you have a leaky bladder. For some women, they will leak some drops of urine when they are laughing, exercising, and sneezing. These movements tend to push the urine and can cause you to drip. If you are worried about too much leakage seeping through your underwear and onto your clothing, consider wearing a panty liner or an adult diaper to catch the urine that leaks from your bladder.
Several people experience a leaky bladder and they are unable to control it because the body automatically sends a sudden urge to relieve itself and by the time you recognize this, it is too late and you have probably urinated. To prevent this, use the rest room at least once every 60-90 minutes. If you drink a lot of fluids, plan more time into your day where you will relieve yourself by using the restroom. Trying to keep the bladder as empty as possible will help you get over the urge incontinence you may feel.

Reduce your intake of caffeine and citrus drinks that cause the bladder to leak. Drinking these juices and stimulants will cause muscle spasms in the bladder and it can force it to drip. Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep the digestive processes working normally, just avoid drinking too much of unnecessary calories like soda.
