Learn German Free

Shhhh, I'm going to tell you a secret. About your brain. How it works and how it can help you learn a language the fastest way. I used to look for websites to learn German for Free, but no success. It seemed that material available under the categoriy "Learn German Free" doesn't really teaches you German in the most effective way. I tried various programs like Rosetta Stone, Tell Me More etc. They were good, let me tell you, but they just kept me unmotivated.

Recently I've heard about a program called Pimsleur. I've heard some really, and when I say I mean REALLY good reviews about it. It contains of audio books that help me learn and learn all the time. I don't have to review that because it's "self reviewing" the words are repeating, new vocabulary is added, it's FANTASTIC. You may want to have a look about the Pimsleur Approach on Wikipedia.

I bought it and I was blown away after the first audio. I understood whole conversation between man and woman and at the end participated in it actively, wow!

Do I highly recommend this? YES! Where can you buy it? Click to this link for more information.

Yeah, I know, Pimsleur is very expensive. If you're looking for more cheaper and yet effective approach as Pimsleur, go on and try ROCKET GERMAN. Your German will go on rocket immeidately ;)

Read the description. If you feel good, you will feel 3 times better after you get your hands on this. I tell you because I did this too.

Good luck!

I used pimsleur for learning Czech as well, it gives you at least the basics of greeting people and asking simple requests. It lacks the grammar study necessary to really learn the language, but good for getting started or for just a short trip.
