Work at a Job

Most people will probably work for their entire lives or at least until retirement and this is how they get the money to survive.

If you want to make a lot of money, think carefully about what kind of job you have. Of course, it's pretty much assumed that you are going to make a lot more money as a doctor than you are as a gas station attendant. If you want to make more money, going to college and working hard just might be the way to do it.

As far as making money fast, working at a job isn't exactly molasses. Most employers pay on a weekly or biweekly basis. If you need the money in that time, you should be fine.

On the other hand, you might need a lot more than what your paycheck can give you and/or the money from your paycheck may already be spoken for to pay bills and regular living expenses. In this case, if it is a dire circumstance, you do have other options. When I say dire, I don't mean you really want to buy a new computer, I mean you need to fix your car, pay for a medical emergency, or maybe start an excellent new business idea.

As a last resort, you can always ask for a loan. If you are lucky enough to have a trusting and wealthy friend or family member who is able and willing to lend you money at a low rate, take that route. If they want to give you the money, that's even better, but make sure they aren't the kind of people who are going to seriously hold it over your head.

If this isn't possible for you, you might have to get a loan another way. You could ask your bank for a low rate loan. If you have good credit, a healthy income that will allow you to pay it back regularly, and probably a few more requirements, you might be able to get a loan.

As a last resort, if you are able to get a credit card or have one already, you could use a credit card. I highly discourage you from using this method. If you need money that you aren't going to be able to pay back within 6 months to a year or less, you could be costing yourself a lot. Interest will pile up and you might severely damage your credit if you don't pay any back at all.

Work Hard and have Patience

Finally, think about why you need the money. Is it for a gift for your girlfriend or boyfriend of 2 months and you want to buy something big and expensive? Is it really worth it to spend so much money that you can't afford on something like that?

Be patient. Sometimes you just have to suck it up. Sometimes you just won't be able to get what you want when you want it. Waiting will make getting that item that much more special to you.
