Learn How to Play Electric Guitar

Learning how to play electric guitar isn't something that you can learn easily by reading lessons. You might be able to learn how to play "Mary Had a Little Lamb", but you probably won't be able to learn much else without either one-on-one training or video lessons.

One-on-one lessons can be prohibitively expensive, plus you actually have to leave your house to go there. Some of us don't have time for that!

I prefer to take online guitar lessons, because I can do it at home, I can learn at my own pace, and it costs a LOT less. It's also a lot easier than logging my guitar and amp around to lessons several times a month!

I'm taking my guitar lessons from Music Master Pro. Not only do they have hundreds of videos that teach you how to play the electric guitar, but they also have videos for bass guitar and drums, too!

I can already play a few songs, and I admittedly haven't been practicing NEARLY as much as I should.

I'm hoping to learn to play like Eddie Van Halen someday, but I don't think I'll ever have the time and dedication to reach that level! Still, a girl can dream, can't she?

My Electric Guitar

A few years ago I had a Gibson Epiphone guitar. It was black and white and beautiful. Unfortunately, I had to pawn it when I needed money. :(

Last year I got a brand new guitar. It's not a name-brand guitar, but I still like it. It's pink (my favorite color) with white splotches. VERY 80s! My amp is small, but it works pretty well. I also have a distortion pedal.

I hope someday to get a better guitar, but you know what? ANY guitar is good enough for learning on. If you really want to learn guitar, you don't have to have a lot of money! Just grab the cheapest guitar and amp you can find (under $200 for both at Wal-Mart!) and join a site like Music Master Pro! You'll be rocking in no time!
