The Japanese is a language spoken by over 130 million people and you can be one of those. Learning a new language can be fun and extremely beneficial. People think it is difficult but you already know at least one complex language so learning a new one can be easier than you think.

As travel and business increases around the world the need to learn another language can offer career prospects that you never considered and Japan being a leader in technological advances and business structure learning the Japanese language can be a smart decision.

Japanese vocabulary has been heavily influenced by other languages, some of these can be recognised quite easily, trade between Japan and many European countries through the centuries have led to the use of words from Dutch and especially English words being added to the vocabulary.

Hi Abhinaya most languages have some relation to others and once you can think in that language it is easy, most people actually compare a new language to their own, and this makes it more difficult to understand

it's quite a tough language to grasp for me too. i love the language esp the animes and manga. before my attention was diverted to writin and all, i used to spend all my free time reading or watching animes. man when they speak only the simple ones i can understand. but i still love it.

It is important to keep in mind how much culture plays a part in the Japanese language. That is the missing link for a lot of learners.

The Japanese Mind

When learning languages it helps if you can relate to the people and the culture, thinking Japaneses can help you when learning the language. Most people try to translate when learning rather than just changing their thought patterns, most native English speakers take the language for granted but it is a very complex and often confusing language and others are quite often easier to learn than English.

Thinking in Japanese by learning the culture helps you understand how the sentences are structured and the relationships between objects and language. Japanese has different forms for what it is describing and knowing this can be of great help when it comes to reading or writing in the language.

A peoples culture is very important for anyone learning languages and can make the difference between proficient and fluent.
