English is the language of science, business, and international commerce in the free world. The necessity for managers of international companies in Asia, South America, and Europe to speak English is increasing year by year. As the world gets smaller because of the expansion of international business, the need for English speaking personnel in companies not located in countries where English is the first language is increasing.

English language institutes offering classes for company personnel as well as college and university students are rapidly expanding worldwide. These private institutes offer English language classes on site at their language schools or send English teachers to the companies. But, what about company personnel located in geographical areas where English teachers and language institutes are not available?

People located in those locations can still learn to speak and or improve their English language skills with the help of an online English teacher.Using Skype, computer software allowing two-way audio visual interaction between the student and the teacher, is currently the standard allowing clear communication. Learning English online is about the same as having a teacher working with the student in person. My experience has shown that lessons in two hour segments twice a week is the standard for many students desiring to improve their English language speaking skills.

There are many online teachers available to help improve students' English language speaking skills, but also writing and listening skills. If you are a student of the English language and wish to improve your English language skills but do not have person to person access to a teacher then consider learning or improving your skills with an online teacher.
