What's the secret?

There's no secret when it comes to learning Spanish quickly. You just need to know a few stuff like:

- the consistency principle and the technique I'm going to share with you

- few tools to get you started

...to practice every day. Duh, isn't that obvious? Yet, only 3/4 of people forget this essential principle. Don't be one of them.

I know this is easier to be said than to be done.

That's why I thought you should know about my "secret weapon" I use to discipline myself to learn Spanish every single day from Money through Friday. 

I borrowed this technique from a guy called Tony Schwarz that wrote a book called: "The Power Of Full Engagement".

In this book he told that the best way to do something everyday is to make it a ritual or habit. A ritual or a habit is a specific thing you do that you aren't conscious of.

The only way to establish a habit is doing the same thing for a period of 21-30 days or more.

Here's the catch:The "things" you're doing must be AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE.

You need to know exactly:

- what are you going to do

-when you gonna do it

- how you gonna do it

- where are you doing to do it

For example, at the moment I'm working on improving my Spanish. I'm doing these things every single day:

- I work from Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 10:00AM. I am using this time to pronunce and learn grammar using the Rocket Spanish course.. I know that today I'm going to take 3 lessons that last around 50 minutes. I'm doing it on my computer. The another important thing is that I start EXACTLY at 9:00AM and finish EXACTLY at 10:00AM. No earlier, no later. Do you see that in the previous sentences I told you exactly the WHAT, WHERE, HOW and WHERE. If you aren't sure, read this paragraph again. It may sounds confusing but once you get it you'll unleash the power within yourself metaphorically speaking :) 

I also believe if you implement this technique you're going to get tremendeous results and learn Spanish in fast way possible.

You need to get good Spanish language software that will guide you through the process of studying with a specific set of lessons or tutorials.

The best software I know of that can offer this feature is for the cheapest possible cost is Rocket Spanish. Of course, there are other more expensive solutions like Tell Me More Spanish, you can take a look at the reviews on my Spanish language software website.

I recommend you try as many methods as possible. It doesn't take much time to realize which ones work for you.

If you ask 10 people how they have learned their second language nobody will give you same answer. The reason? They are all unique and different unique methods work for each of them.

However, there are some programs like the ones mentioned above that work for MOST OF THE PEOPLE (let's say 8 out of 10). The key here is to choose a method that has the biggest probability to work for you. So, if Rocket Spanish doesn't work for you maybe Tell me More will.

That's why I think the "money back guarantees" are golden. If I were you, I would get all the possible programs and audio CDs I could. I would see what works for me and keep that. And as for the others, I would use the refund option. It's simple as that. 

When learning Spanish, it's EXTREMELY handy if you have a good network of friends who are native speakers.

Fortunately, finding a Spanish buddy has never been easier.

The other way to find Spanish buddies is to harness the power of Skype :) Use the Skype search feature to locate chicks in Spain or other Latin American country, add them and introduce yourself in Spanish :) I know it sounds a bit funny but it's worth it, trust me ;)
