Learning From An Eagle
65The Eagle
The eagle
The eagle has some very special qualities. It loves to fly high. Perhaps we can learn the confidence and the aim to reach greater heights from the eagle.
Its vision is very sharp. If only we can view things sharply we will be able to differentiate between the good and the bad. We will know what to do and what not.
It is a patient bird. It will fly and float in the sky until it sees its prey down on earth. We can learn to practice patience from an eagle so that we can keep on working until we get the right opportunity to come up in life.
There are different types of eagles. Though some eagles can live up to seventy years their average life span is about thirty to forty years.
The important assets of an eagle are its wings, sharp claws and sharp beak. When it gets old, its beak loses its sharpness along with its claws. The wings become heavy and it will therefore find it difficult to fly.
The eagle has only two options now. One is to die because it cannot hunt its food and eat any longer. The other option is to rejuvenate its parts. How can this be achieved? It flies to the top of a rock. Then it dashes against the rock and breaks its beak. It breaks its claws as well. It tears off its wings. Then it waits patiently for a few months until it gets new wings, claws and beak. Now it is fit for hunting and therefore it can live for several more years.
Similarly, when we reach about forty years, we should have some changes in life. We should develop and practice good food habits. We should remember that exercise is very important to maintain the functions of the body. In addition, it is recommended that Yoga and breathing exercises are very good. Meditation too will give very good results.
Therefore, let us emulate the good qualities of an eagle and reach great heights like the king of birds.

Glad to note you found this hub interesting trish1048. If it is clever enough to rejuvenate its wings and claws, will it not know to store food before breaking the wings and claws? It is always good to question everything, so thanks.

Very interesting! Such a beautiful bird!
Question,,,if what you say is true about their crashing against a rock to break their claws, beak and tear their wings off, while they are waiting for these things to rejuvenate, don't they die from starvation??
Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed the video too,,
