Learning From Others
53What I have learned from the Success of Others
There was a time when I thought others cannot get ahead of me. They cannot learn more than I can, they cannot achieve more than I can and they will NOT be successful. There was a time when I thought only of me.
In the past few years, as I have gotten my spiritual self together, I have learned to bless others in their success and Praise God for what He has done in their lives.
No, No, I am not getting preachy! I am sharing a thought that may help someone as it has helped me.
Everyone is not the same and every vision and plan will come to pass in its pre-ordained time. Sometimes we want so much more for ourselves and our personal families that we do NOT want to help someone else share in their praise report.
Why is that? I can never answer for another person; I am not in their mind or walking their walk, but I do know that I am not that wrapped up in myself. I have learned that friends I went to high school with, had the courage to move from this dreadful artic in winter place and start lives that they are living and loving passionately. I am discovering that people I worked with over the years, have taken their life experiences and put them to good use. These people have created lasting businesses and a good name for themselves around the United States.
I have learned a lot from the success of others just by watching how they react to their circumstances, how they help others and how creative they are in marketing their entire lives. (Yes, your life is always on presentation!)
I have also learned that the one day my time comes I better be ready to take the world by storm and ask my successful friends to be there to help me stand.
I have also learned, which turned out to be a very valuable lesson, that it is not about me and what I can do, it is about what you see IN me while I am doing what I can do.
Take a minute and look at your friends and family; high five them for a job well done! Learn from the success of others!

The road to success can be lonely in the beginning as you shake off the mediocre crowd. But you gain much deep relationship from those striving for success and personal development.
