How religion can help you

The world is full of troubles. Poverty, War, Evil, Violence, Enemies, Hunger, and Sickness are only a few. Some of us experience more than others. The only way we can fight and overcome these perils is by the help of God. But most importantly we have to live the life God wants us to live, in order to ensure His help.

Many people find it hard to know or understand God. Some find it hard to believe in Him. But there are steps one must take in life to have an experience with God in times of crisis. Let’s don’t forget, we might find ourselves in favorable circumstances and assume that religion is a farce, but such thinking only betrays us.

We can reach to God by learning divine scriptures, by prayer and singing the name of God. God's name is varied according to  culture and geographical area, we are born.  HIs name ic known as Ram, Jesus, Krishna, Shiva, Vishnu and feminine forms of God are called Lakshmi, Durga or Saraswati.  When we sing the name of God, we will be protected against most of the evils of this world as mentioned earlier. For those who want to develop a close relationship with God, they have to make the effort to by practicing prayer, charity, and devotion to God.

When people are in the midst of poverty and oppression, or some other distress and problems, they may find it hard to believe in religion. Faith may become weak and at such times one has to look for support until circumstances change. It is important to know that all things pass away. No one knows how God comes around and solve your problems.

If sickness is your problem, then prayer can definitely help you along with charitable works. If you have enemies, God can send you to a different place far from them. There are countless miracles which God sends our way everyday. But it will not happen if you do not follow the rules of religion. The first rule of religion is what Jesus spoke about to love God and believe He is Almighty, Eternal and Boundless in His attributes.

The second rule is to follow the teachings of God in regard to other humans. You shall not hurt another person, nor cheat, or steal. But to love even those who hate you. To forgive who do not know what they do. To help those who cannot help themselves. To give rather than to take. If you follow these teachings and remember God, he will surely hear and guide you in all your steps.
