I just adore leather living room furniture. The look and feel are outstanding. I have been in many a living room, and seen many a living room set. Leather living room furniture completes living space like no other furniture. When I was a girl, corduroy couches and easy chairs were the norm. Today, much as I am cool with cords, I cannot think of a richer experience than a leather sofa and chair. Ad an ottoman -- leather as well -- and you are good to go -- as they say. The thing about leather is it lends an elegance. It is understated and classy. I doubt you could ever find a loud leather living room set. Leather just does not work that way. Leather is pleasure.

Please understand, I do not think leather sets are without drawbacks. Indeed, I have mixed emotions about using leather (animal hide), at all. Animals are dear to me, and dear to humanity. What gives me solace is knowing that leather comes from animals used for food, sustenance -- human survival. Still, if leather is not okay by you, I obviously understand. You need only look to pleather to get the look and feel of leather living room furniture. A pleather sofa can spark the same emotions as a genuine leather sofa. Ideally, and I hope this comes to pass, someone will start producing a faux leather that is sustainable -- environmentally green -- and all will be well in the leather furniture world.
