Deja Vu, Baby!

DEJA VU- by Vicz
DEJA VU- by Vicz

In the Beginning...

There was something familiar about it all... I had the sense that I had been here before, in this very spot, with this very person, but not at this very time...

What is it then, that gives us this feeling of deja-vu?  I don't care what anyone says... I've been here... I've met you before...

In my minds eye, I see you, and we are here, and these feelings I have, I have felt before.  But I have only just met you...

My eyes have deceived me in the past, but this... This is for real.  Your eyes... Your smile... Everything about you, I have known for longer than you realize...

Think.  Do you see me?  Do you see me there, in the back of your mind? Tucked away, stemming from a life already passed? I am there. Look harder...

Look deep into my eyes, and through to my soul... Do you recognize me now?  I am all that was... All that is, and all that will ever be. Your just like me...

We... you and I... Together-yet so far apart... The same-yet so different...

Did you ever wonder how it came to be, that you and I, have even exchanged words?  Across great lengths, from different parts of the world, with no one in common... does it matter?

From birth to death, and to birth again, I've carried a piece of you.  This BLANK piece is all I need in which to keep finding you.

I gave you a piece of me, just-in case, and this is that feeling that keeps arising within... Deja-vu!

The Matrix- Deja Vu

"A black cat went past us, and then I saw another that looked just like it," says Neo in "The Matrix." Trinity responds: "A déjà vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something."
