Lego Batman Strategy Guide 81: In the Dark Night, Free Play, Part 2

There is one building that has a glass front, and you were not able to get in the first time. It takes a lot to get in, actually. You need to start by using mind control on the person inside, and make him pull a lever. A box will come out of a conveyor, and you need to blow it up with an explosive from an explosive character. You will then have a pair of handles that have to be put on the door, and then a super-strong character needs to wrench both doors off. Destroy everything inside, using explosives on the shiny metal things. Assemble all the stuff together, and you will make a cake, this is one out of three needed to make a canister, actually.

The second cake is down in the next building. Just destroy the front with explosives, and then use deadly force on all the stuff inside. You can then build an oven, plus a timer on top. Eventually, a cake will come out, and you can destroy it for cake two out of three. This cake was attainable the first time you played this level, but I believe this cake does not have any indicator on the non Free Play level.

As for the last cake, it is found by going up the next area. You need to smash the phone and build the fan up, and then go to the right until you find the ladder. You need to then jump up as a high jumper to the ladder above, and climb it to another area. Just start smashing things, and you will eventually find cake three out of three, as well as the Fifth Canister.

This next canister is probably one of the hardest to obtain in the game. What you have to do is keep going like you were the first time, until you reach the one room with the boarded up area. Go ahead and build the spinner, and use the elevator to go to the top. You may recall you got Destruction Suit Batman here, but you will need to turn into Glide Suit Batman and glide to the left. You will land on a window ledge, then another. Go to the left, and you will need to maneuver in between some pipes until you get in. There is a batrope area here, and you need to use it, and go left. There is a huge area to smash things up in, and the Sixth Canister is in the corner. Yes, it is hard to get to.
