When I have time for myself I love to cook, I can spend hours in the kitchen baking and cooking and creating my own recipes. I learnt to cook when I was young, I used to watch my Mum prepare and cook and I always enjoyed the finished article! Mum always gave me pastry to roll out and vegetables to prepare and she would teach me how to make some of our favourite dishes, I made my first cake when I was 7 years old and started to invent my own recipes when I was about 9 years old.

If I can't cook I will read, I love the Cathy Glass books but I also enjoy thriller stories and mystery novels.

Sometimes 'me time' involves my family, I take great pleasure in having the children and Grandchildren over and spending time relaxing and talking about life, afterwards me and my partner can have 'our time' together. Bliss!!
