Lemon Yogurt Bread

quick and easy yummy too
Prep: 15 min. Bake : 45 min. + cooling (found this in a magazine)
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour) ( I use all organic ingredients)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teasp. salt
1/2 teasp. baking soda
1/4 teasp. baking powder
1 egg
1 cup lemon yogurt
1/3 cup canola oil (olive oil works to )
1 tbls. lemon juice ( you can add jest if you like, also)
Directions heat oven to 325 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar,salt,baking soda, and baking powder.
In another bowl , combine the egg, yogurt, oil and lemon juice. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
Pour into an 8 in. X 4 in. X 2 in. loaf pan coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool
10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. YIELD : 1 loaf (12slices)
nutrition facts ; 1 slice = 177 calories.7 g fat (1 g saturated fat) 18 mg cholesterol. 176 mg sodium. 26 grms carbs. 1 gfiber. 3 g protein.
