Lemonade Diet
62What Is The Lemonade Diet?
Lemonade Diet has become a popular name for the Master Cleanser diet due to its use of lemonade to help cleanse the body. These days we keep hearing that we need to eliminate the toxins from our bodies. The lemonade diet was created for that very purpose. This diet is only meant to be a short term cleansing diet. The average time on the cleanse is 10 days. If this is all new to you I will give you an overview of what to do here.
The first thing you need to know is that the lemonade diet is a fasting diet and does not allow solid food. Check with your physician before doing it. Confirm what medicine you can safely take and which you can safely skip while on the fast.
You need to be aware that fasting is not for everyone. For some it can be very hard to go without solid food for over a week. With that out of the way here are the steps to the lemonade diet.
Your daily nutritional needs will be a daily regimen of lemonade that is made from non-fluoridated water and 60 ounces of it. Add in 12 Tbsp of fresh squeezed organic lemon juice, 1 tsp of cayenne pepper (alternatively capsules can be used) and 12 Tbsp of Organic Grade B Maple Syrup.
First thing in the morning though you start off with a saltwater mixture to flush out your system. Then mix the ingredients for your drink regimen into the 60 ounces of water and consume 6 - 10 ounces glasses during the day. Some people even say to increase the amounts to do 11 to 12 glasses a day to get the calories up to 1200 calories for the day. It is also recommended to drink water in between the glasses of lemonade to help rinse the acid from the lemonade.
Many people have reported favorable results from using the lemonade diet to cleanse their bodies. They have seen improvements in their blood sugar levels and even seen their depression improve. They have also seen a marked improvement in their blood pressure. It flushes out toxins that build up in the body, which helps purify the body. It is a most effective way to thoroughly clean out the digestive track and flush the kidneys out. It is even good for the blood stream.
After you have stayed on this for 10 days (or how many days you last on it). Go off of it. But to go off of it you need to do just citrus juices the first day and then you can introduce maybe some vegetable soup the next day. After that you can go back to eating regularly.
The nutritionist Stanley Burroughs came up with his cayenne pepper diet back in 1940. He wrote the book The Master Cleanse about the diet which still popular today. People have known for a long time about the need to detox the body.
It is advised to follow the 10 day session of the Master Cleanser program every 3 months. That means you would do the cleanse up to 4 times a year.
