LessThan100Bucks.com

There is a website, LessThan100Bucks.com, that seems to be getting some web attention lately and I, for one, am not sure why. When I first saw the name of the website, I thought that it sounded interesting and that there might be a lot of good deals on it.

I was really disappointed in the site when I got to it. The site does look nice but it is not at all what I expected. I was expecting tons of products in all categories for under $100.

On the main page of LessThan100Bucks.com, there are 4 tabs, Home, < $100, < $50 and < $20.
Clicking on Home, you have the page divided into three sections < $100, < $50 and < $20 with links to some of the products in each category. Clicking on the < $100 tab takes you to the < $100 page which has 13 products on the page. When you click on any of the products it takes you to the Summit Racing website. The same goes for the < $50 and < than $20 tabs but each of those takes you to a separate website first, LessThan50Bucks.com and LessThan$20Bucks.com. There is a link on each of the pages that takes you to a page that you can sign up for a free catalogue from Summit Racing Equipment.

Obviously LessThan100bucks.com, LessThan50Bucks.com and LessThan20Bucks.com are driven by Summit Racing Equipment but if I had a domains like these, I would for sure have tons of products listed on this site from all kinds of categories, like clothing, books, computer equipment, etc. This domain name has a lot more potential than what Summit Racing Equipment is using it for but then that is their priviledge since I am assuming they are their domain names.

Ha! Great hub! I think it's extremely important to have a website's content at least attempt to match its domain name. Cheers, Dawei888 :-)
