From My Wave To Your New Business
I am trying a new method I have created that has to do with the approach on building my business from the ground up with nothing but my knowledge and my word for you to research.
Focus only on the approach not the final out put. Learn how to walk before you run, so many people rush into building a business with the incorrect base for their purpose.
When I am in the ocean surfing I swim out very far past the 3rd break at times. The hardest part is the beginning white water you have to swim through sometimes with all you got because you know if you stop at that point the next set is gonna crash right on you!
{This process could be like the beginning stage of looking for the perfect business to invest in that will give you mass profit for your efforts. This is the hardest part, settling down.}
Once I get to the point where things have settled down a bit I usually sit on top of my board and practice my patience and catch a few deep breathes. I say to myself, ";Don't ask for more just take what they give you.";
{This process is where you have the time to eliminate all the negatives and focus on the possitive aspect of owning your own business. A well planned investment will never be considered a waist.}
Usually I sit on my board while a nice sized set goes underneath my feet. I use this time wisely because I am always glancing out into the ocean looking for the next wave. I let a few good ones go by if I have to because I see what is comming after that wave by remembering aways to look forward one step ahead of the next wave. If I take the first wave I would be stuck in the white water for over 15 min. sometimes more, not fun!
{This process helps you pick through All these offers out there! They are not as scarry as you would think. People are just scared of what they don't know about. Start reading and researching the best ways to utilize your time and efforts. Focus on the purpose, ";Getting to land safely So you can grow your business!"}
If I go through every past experience with the correct purpose and learn a little something from each one, then it will kindly help me out the next time I am about to cleanly catch a beautiful wave all the way to the shore with a smile.

Good analogy. People respond to stories and often makes it much easier to relate to what you're discussing.
All the best,

Matt, that was a great anology. Seems like these principles apply with whatever we try do in life, whether that is surfing, building a business, cooking a pie or anything else. To succeed in it we need to master the ability of being patient, have a positive attitude, and are willing to learn whatever it is that will help us accomplish our goal. Without one of these ingredients we can still get there but the process along the way would either be frustrating or much longer before we get there.

I don't know how to surf and have to say I never ventured into because of all there seemed to be to know to be able to do it (and that I am landlocked too!). You did a great job of simply explaining how to surf and in such a way that makes diving into this business seem doable too. Good success to you. Matt

I like your surfing analogy -- patience and taking the right opportunity are so important - so many waves to choose from. Hope yours gives you the ride of your life!
