English Bulldog Health

It is VERY important to find a vet who knows and specializes in english bulldogs.

Why I say this is because many vets will miss diagnose your english bulldog with a typical cold and it can be full blown pneumonia. I know because it has happened to me and many others. The vet sent me home with Clavamox and told me to give 2 tablets daily and I did for 3 days. I noticed that my english bulldog Bella wasnt getting any better so I called him back and said she is worse and not eating now. He said bring her in and she was in stage 4 with pneumonia. She ended up having to be hospitalized and was put on iv fluids. It took my poor Bella almost 2 weeks to recover and the most scariest time of my life. I ended up changing vets needless to say. So, please make sure they know that respiratory infection are VERY serious in bulldogs and should not be OVERLOOKED! It is so important.
