Over years of dealing with people,friends and or family, i discovered that if you pay too much attention to complainers and respond with sympathy to their complains, the complainer will always have something to complain to you about. Complainer gets pleasure from someone being there to listen and will never stop the behavior.

Show empathy to complainers and not sympathy and make them understand there are other people in worse situation than them. Complains can be channelled into something positive if the complainer ask him/her self:

• why am i complaining?
• What am i complaining about?
• Can i get ride of what i always complain about?
• If i get ride of what i complain about, will i  complain again?

Complains waste alot of time that leads to problems not being solved in time.
