My ChildHood near death experience

I thought I might make a Hub sharing personal near death experiences as a kid. Why? I personally think there funny and entertaining looking back at them knowing I survived. Hopefully you'll share yours as well. :) Remember, funny stories, not sad ones.

Anyways, I was around the age of 5 or 6 when this happened. My mom was painting the inside of the house and I was being too much of a bother for her to watch me while she was painting. There was a fence in the back yard where you could slip under to our neighbors friends house where they were also working on their house. They had 2 kids and we got along really well with them, so my mom asked my neighbor jack if he would watch me while she painted the house. My brother was over there as well playing with the 2 older kids. Well my neighbor had been watching me for about an hour with everything going great with no problems. He thought that he could go inside for a minute or two to get something leaving me unattended, big mistake. There was a ladder near where I was standing and I thought I might go climb it and see what was up there. Well my brother comes out from the back yard and sees me walking along the top of this house. He sprints back to our house and tells my mom. She of course freaks out and runs out of the house after me. She didn't know what to do. If she called me then I might walk right off the edge.I don't know why she didn't just climb the ladder and get me. Anyways... She screams JACK!!!. He runs out of the house and sees me just bouncing along on top of this roof. He didn't know whether to be scared for me, or what my mom was going to do to him later. She yells at him to go on the roof and get me. So he does and he gets me down safe. He was reamed later of course.

Well that was one of my childhood near death experiences. Hope you liked it. Share yours and I promise i'll read it.
