-Ah, the land of titles, aren't they great?

-A title for your belief, race, even a title for how much money you do or don't make.

-In the land of titles, wheres common ground?

-Those that live for titles has no life to be found.

-Who makes the decisions, the title or the person?

- Does the person even see the titles diversion?

-Do as you please, live for a title.

-Put a title on your life and still think you're an individual.

-The society of titles in a land of the free?

-Freedom in a title, how could this contradiction be?

-Ah, the title of individualism is no title at all.

-Sit back in your individualism as you watch the land of titles fall.

Thought provoking & true. People are defined in terms, labels, to fit into one group or another - it's amazing -

the classifications are endless - I prefer to stand, unique in my own way - not wanting to conform and have a "Title",

but others need the status symbol to say who they are every day they wake up. Very good!

I think there's a difference in titles for what you do and those that are what you are. Are you not proud to bear the title of United States Marine?

Hello Hmrjmr, Thank You for reading. I'm not a marine anymore however, I remind myself to keep a marine work ethic throughout life. I support marines along with anymore military that sacrifices self for others freedom. From my time in, I highly disagree with myself being titled by the government any longer in a government I do not respect. I respect the title of military, not the title of government.

Amazing how tactfully you described the “class distinction” we now experience in our country. The have’s, and have not’s!

“Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority: still more when you superadd the tendency or the certainty of corruption by authority.”~~Lord Acton

I think you hint here to snobbery and snobbish, uptight people... I strongly support you as thsoe kind of people who live just to cajole and be cajoled.

Thank You Shamel, Always appreciated. True thoughts, not many positives in a title if any.

If they had a contest to define a social ill in the least number of sentences you would surely win- and you have an uncanny gift for getting right to the meat of any matter in prose. Love it. My favorite? Do as you please, live for a title. I'm going to sew that on a pillow.
