Video Web Site Webmaster - Video Color Bars - Get It?

I'm a video search engine webmaster. And, since we're new, we're a little low on the totom poll. I think we're about the 2 millionth most popular site on the web.

What you're looking at is a case book in Internet Marketing. Follow this Hub and you'll watch our website, http://www.directvutv.com grow.

I hope you enjoy the journey. I'm not sure we'll be buying youtube any time soon, but we do plan to share some eyeballs with them.

How Me Searching For Programming Help Improved My Arguing Skills

I'm a web site administrator and web site coder. So, not a single day goes by where I don't use Google to help me with some programming or coding issue.

As odd as it sounds, but I guess like is like that, I got this cryptic message from one of my applications that said ''windows argument invalid in xxx''. So, off to Google I went and typed in win argument xxx. To my surprise, about 3 results down I saw this website that was called winarguments.com

The result from Google Intrigued Me

''....My specialty is arguments. Other people specialize in music, numbers or law, I argue and win, because that's what I love to do, and have made a living at it ...''

Well there's this fellow named Steve Avery and his business is arguments. And he's been doing it for 15 Years!

I was intrigued and clicked through to the site. I imagined all the negotiations in my life and wondered if Steve was on to something and if it would make me a better communicator

quickly saw that it was a sales site (we've all seen them) and I figured he was selling some $97.00 course but as I read the copy I realized that if a fellow could make a living off of arguing then there must be something there. (I think because it's such a different subject, it it was about adwords or making money on e-bay, I'd be back to Google looking for Windows programming Arguments)

Anyways I flipped down to the bottom and saw that Steve was selling it for $19.95 (not $97.00 like I suspected). Needless to say, with a softcover book at $10.00 I figured what the hell and Steve got my 20 bucks

Now I've got to say that some stuff on the Internet is truly useless but some of it is quite interesting and valuable. And just because you find it on the Internet, it doesn't mean it's bad.

Steve's Book taught me a couple of things

Learn Penetrating One Liners ( a little too mean for me, but others might apply it

Kill them with kindness, How to argue without even looking like you are arguing (my favorite)

How to win negotiations of any kind from the mistake at the mall to the million dollar lawsuit.

It'all a pretty cool and interesting way to spend $20 bucks. And frankly, I feel like I've learned something that will be of life-time value.
