deep questions of life

It is true that there are many different beliefs in today's society. I think most people would agree that someone is right and a lot of people are wrong!

There are many difficult questions unanswered

today i want to challenge you in thought of this next paragraph

If there was ever a time when nothing existed (no time, space or matter).....nothing would ever come to exist!

Stop for a minute and let that thought sink in, NO black space to have planets, stars, atoms, molecules, dust, energy, NOTHING......If there is no space, where are you going to put all these things? And if there is no space or things to put in the space, there is no time span for these objects to exist within the space. wow take a deep breath and read all that again until you nearly grasp the concept!!!!

Nothing can come from nothing. If theres nothing there, nothing can come into exsistence? right?

But things do exist......

Therefore, there has to have been something that has always existed. No one can argue this point, its not an issue

The issue lies in what is eternal....

Lets take the big bang for instance. Those who believe this theory have to accept that the theory is illogical unless something was there before the big bang. You cant get a big bang from nothing. So what was before the big bang that made it go **bang**?

Lets take those who believe in creation, the world couldn't create itself from nothing, there would have had to have been something that existed before creation that created the earth etc...

Theres something in this reality, that has never had a beginning, that has always exsisted.

Thats hard to get our heads around, but no one can argue it without there theory becoming an impossible theory.

Whether you are an atheist, christian, muslim, buddist, watever.....we all have to agree that before the world, there was and is an everlating being, thing, objestcs.

The question is what? God? Dust? Aliens?

Get your head round that!!!

A person must go outside the box of conventional thought to conceive how things can exist from nothing. If you take ten and add to it negative ten, you end up with zero. You really have two things (a ten and a negative ten), but it balances to zero. If you can only see the ten, and cannot see the negative ten, you may erroneously conclude that the negative ten does not exist, and the zero makes no sense.

Socrates contended that our senses filter reality rather than disclosing reality. Einstein contended that everything is an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

I'm happy to see you are thinking about these things, but consider that which you cannot see as balancing out everything you can see. It may make more sense how these theories can, and do, hold water!

Sean....well written but shallow in thought. I do not mean this to be insulting. it is just a comment You seem to think that the universe we exist in is the only "universe" that exists. Why? Presently, our "universe" which is the result of an alledged "Big Bang," is expanding. What is it expanding in? If it continues to expand, it will eventually be dissipated and become part and parcel of what? If it eventually begins to collapse into itself, all it's mass will be compacted/compressed into what? ...a quantum particle so dense that the kinetic movement of atoms will cause them to collide and explode. Nuclear fission to the nth degree! Another "Big Bang." Now, what is all this happening within? The vacuum of Infinite, eternal empty space! What makes you think that Our alledged "big Bang" is the only one happening beyond our wildest ability to imagine? Shake up a can of beer, what happens? The inert elements which exist within a liquid combine and react! It foams. Every bubble a seperate, individual, miniature "Big Bang." Pls explain to me why you think that our "Big Bang" universe is unique within a cosmos which exceeds our ability to quantify it in terms of size and time? When you speak of energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed, why do you think energy is not laying inert in the cosmos and just waiting for whatever it takes to stimulate it into action. WE are much too young a species and much too ignorant at this point in our evolution to begin to understand cosmic mysteries. To give credit for "ALL" to a supernatural, caring entity is the subject of "primitive' thought. " Get your head around that! " (your quote..:-))
