Lines, lips and circles: A Cris A-inspired journey back to Haiku

A Cris A - inspired line, lip and circle Haiku
I read Basho, the great Japanese poet (1644-94) when I feel I am no good at writing. Basho's poems enchant, comfort and instruct. In my heart, I am a student of his style but I have not yet reached a level when I can say I am a very good student of Haiku.
I have been amazed by Cris A's photoshop creations that instead of using the photos he gave us permission to use at hubpages, in this hub I am using a photo he didn't say we have permission. I am just asking permission now. Of course, I'm prepared to take out this beautiful photo if permission is not granted.
Lips, lines and circles
Queues of warm bodies
waiting for work
Back home, a line of needs.
Dots from drops of rain
following subterranean lanes
Fear, a hole in the ground.
Moonshine over fields
with unpredictable shafts
Dreams move in the dark.
Lips, an orifice
Exit to heaven or hell
The horizon, a ribbon of longing.
Shoreline at twilight
foam and pebble and a glass
Sunset - a torment and a prayer.
Windsong and yellow leaves
Tresses tossed around
Each wrinkle is a story.
Lines forming circles
Pain, a spool of rope
Words growing wings.

Thanks, Jill, for leaving a kind comment!
Ah haiku...the last frontier! at least for me :D And thanks for the link.
It seems I've got to do a lot of catching up as far as your hubs are concerned :D
Thanks for dropping by, Cris. I suppose you're so busy with a lot of writing work, like editing - which you mentioned somewhere in one of your hubs.
Even with my hands full, I see to it that I go over your hubs when a notice appears in my inbox. Surely, there's something good to bring home after reading any of your hubs. So, I try my best not to miss a new hub you have published.
I have not written much since three months ago as I have frantic schedules myself. Maybe you just missed a couple of hubs. So, there's not much catching up to do really. Please just find time to watch "Chicken a la Carte" which has a link in one of my hubs. It's one important (just a 3-minute film) work not to be missed, I believe.
Why do I feel like dancing? LOL Beautiful, thanks!
Thanks for leaving a happy comment! In your hubs, joy flows. And even in your comment here!
